"5 Star Service"
"We’d been having problems for a long time with our Wi-Fi and internet connections when I called Andy, on the recommendation of another service technician. I explained that our Home Broadband Wi-Fi (with BT Openreach fibre connection) was frequently very slow, sometimes cutting out altogether. We also run a Sonos system in our house and the signal to that would often cut out too. Plus, where the router was positioned, upstairs at the front of the house, meant that we often barely got a signal at all in the conservatory downstairs at the back of the house.
Andy listened very patiently as I explained how frustrated we were getting with the service, despite paying for a faster broadband, especially as my wife and I are both freelancers, working from home and heavily reliant on good internet connections. Andy made an appointment, then came round and did a full assessment of all the different computers, both Microsoft and Apple, PCs and laptops, plus iPads and mobile phones in our house. I had bought a new router and although Andy was not familiar with it or our system he was incredibly patient and thorough in working out a way to give us what we were looking for: a fast, reliable Wi-Fi signal that would be strong enough to carry right through our five bedroom house. He connected up the router then relocated it from the front of the house to the middle, doing the same with the Openreach router as well.
He then thoroughly tested our various computers and Sonos system for good, reliable signals and was very patient in explaining his progress at every step of the way. Two days later, when we had pressed the wrong button on the router whilst trying to connect wirelessly to our printer and lost our internet connection, he came back and sorted it out for us within the hour, also making sure that our printer was now connected too.
I would highly recommend Andy to anyone who is looking for a high level of expertise in sorting out your computing and Wi-Fi problems. He did a brilliant job on our system, was very thorough and intuitive in making things work, even when he wasn’t familiar with them to begin with. The price for nearly four hours of labour was very reasonable too, and I would rate the service as 5-star!"
